That Pallbearer didn't make my 2012 list, but it was good enough for me to put in post #25 back in April.

Michael Moorcock collaborated often during the 70's and 80's with one of the original stoner bands, Hawkwind. |

A little Arkansas doom:
This album made several best of 2012 lists. It's pretty damned good.

That list is insane.
I mean, it's got your big name high draw "pop" metal acts, but it also has critical darlings like Neurosis, Sleep, Swans(!!!!), Converge, Anti Flag, Agnostic Front. Wow.

The Valley stage is where I need to be.
Sleep (reunion) Clutch, Red Fang, The Sword, Uncle Acid... Even the Warzone stage - Cockney Rejects, Agnostic Front... If I didn't hate Berets so much I'd go. |

Maybe a Q, but holy shit.
From about 6:00 on is that transcendental crazy shit. It could be any number of jazz musicians, jam bands (Phish), or whatever... it just hits that sweet spot that is pure tension and release. Damn.

I posted this earlier in this thread but no apologies needed. This song should be mandatory on each and every page. This song makes me a bit crazy. Start punching my co-workers.
