Yeah, I'd do what the player wants in these situations. It's a game and people want to unlock accomplishments.

I'd play him. He's still a rookie that's still learning this offense - and unlike the other ass WR's he seems to be capable of learning it...

I would think he would benefit from a “bye” too. Maybe only a few plays.. 5 or 6 at most..

I think in general I'd treat it like a preseason game. Starters (aside from Mahomes) get a drive or two, but that's it.

I'd just a soon rest everybody we can. Rice can hang out with Mahomes, watching film and playing catch. Same for Kelce. I'll back whatever Big Red decides though.
