I've seen the quick adverts on HBO for his April special and quite honestly, I don't find them the least bit funny.

That said, I've seen some pretty amazing people do standup, like two feet in front of me before, so I'm a "tough crowd".

George Lopez in 1998 was a good one (before he went against "Whitey") although it's tough to top Rodney Dangerfield when he's trying out jokes, even at age 76.

Everyone has their own tastes in comedy. I used to frequent comedy clubs a ton in the 80's and 90's but not so much in the last decade or so.

Again, just to clarify, Lopez was funny in the clubs but not so much since he "made it". And I've never seen anything of Louis C.K. that made me laugh but I will watch his HBO show in April.
