It was a story about a few people after the nukes fell. One was a homeless crazy lady, one was a former WWF wrestler and former NFL player, one was a dude that hated people to begin with and then there was a former war hero that arranged his own army along with a psychotic teen ager. Really cool shit.

The main character was a little girl that could bring vegetation back to life.

I think it came out in the early 80's.
Every book of his Ive ever read is pretty damn good. Glad to see a few fellow fans of his on here.

You didn't like Childhood's End? Huh. I haven't read the book in 30 years but I thought it was pretty much exactly how I remembered it.

Are you in a half intoxicated/half drowsy right now? (Caught it before the edit.)

You can certainly make an argument for immaturity, but how was my post lacking common sense? I clearly understood the intent. The title I suggested actually is a book. And based on your grammar in the thread title (and the quoted post above), I assumed you don't read much. So I thought maybe the movie version would help.

As far as me keeping out of this thread.... Yeah, probably not. But thanks for the suggestion.

Well, as soon as I learn how to read and apply that to written form, i'll be sure to check out the culinary section and find you a book that can help you make appetizing food.

Anne McCaffrey's "Dragonriders of Pern" original trilogy ("Dragonflight", "Dragonquest", "The White Dragon").

Terry Brooks's "Magic Kingdom For Sale".

Terry Goodkind's "Sword of Truth" (done right, not the "Legend of the Seeker" version, more like "Game of Thrones").

Isaac Asimov's trilogy, "The Caves of Steel", "The Naked Sun", and "The Robots of Dawn".

Steven Pressfield's Gate of Fire would be an incredible movie if done right.

Ralph LaLonde's series "Spinward Fringe" . Although he's not done with writing the series I think it would make for some kick ass television.
