Chiefs UDFA signings

Thought we could get a thread for all this. I'll update the header as I can.

You have to figure if the two veterans have anything left in the tank they can beat everyone on that list that's not named Maclin. The UDFA would also have to beat out the two actual guys we spent draft picks on. And you can't forget everyones favorite Fred Williams, he would have to outshine him in preseason.

How many of them are 6'6 220+ lbs? He definitely brings something different. Seriously, why wasn't this Matthews kid drafted? Is there an answer? Can he bulk up and be our 3rd TE? Color me impressed.

This site has him listed as the #29th WR in the draft class? http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings...2016&genpos=WR

Unreal
You can't teach great ball skills. We seen it last season with Peters. Would be nice to have this kid on the team as another ball hawk

He's going to have to put some meat on his bones or some safety is going to snap him in half like a dry twig. I hope he's able to, looks like he's got some top notch talent

He has the Jon Baldwinitis syndrome meaning he's a billion feet tall but can't beat the press and let's corners half his size bump him off his routes. Only difference is nobody was dumb enough to spend a pick on him like the Chiefs were Baldwin.

I'm not dumping on the guy the tape is impressive, but we have seen it before in Baldwin. I mean in the NFL corners jam you and bump you to disrupt your route almost every play and if you can't beat it with good balance you aren't going to have a career in the big leagues as a WR. I do hope he makes the team though, the size is impressive. I just think it's going to be hard for him, we threw draft picks at the position and brought in some veterans, some of those guys are going to have to stink it up.

I really like the Clarke, Canzeri, and Smith pick ups. Rooting for Agen, I went to school at Michigan Tech for a bit before transferring.

The star has us as having signed Tre Jones in an article yesterday...

"The Chiefs continued their annual effort this time of year, agreeing to deals with Florida State linebacker Terrence Smith, Vanderbilt offensive guard Jake Bernstein and Mount Union cornerback Tre Jones as priority undrafted free agents, sources told The Star."

Canzeri is a nice back. Perfect for how we like to involve our RBs in the passing game. I thought he was Iowa's best backs last year.
