Austin should have been on pit road 20 laps ago.

NASCAR's bias towards the #3 just blew up in their face. Too bad the driver is not ready for prime-time.

I'm aware of those facts...

It was the first time inspection with the new rules package. The failures were numerous and 15 minutes wasn't going to fix that. Nascar should have started the process sooner and allow additional time given the changes to the cars/rules.
