I really like Settle, but NT seems like an easier slot to fill in free agency?

I'm hearing a lot of good things about Shepherd but not found any highlight reels, anyone got a link to some clips?

Damn I’d love to draft this kid but not where he’s expected to go.

NFLDraftScout.com's Dane Brugler writes that Notre Dame WR Equanimeous St. Brown is a "prospect with the potential to be a true No. 1 receiver in the NFL."

Brugler likes St. Brown as one of the combine's winners after the 6-foot-5, 214-pounder pumped in 20 reps on the bench press and rolled the 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds. Writes the analyst, "Although he doesn’t play as strong as he benched and needs to polish his routes, St. Brown has an intriguing ceiling once NFL coaches get their hands on him." The wideout's a likely Day 2 selection for the spring.

Watched Marquis Haynes since he was mocked to us. Very Dee Ford esque. Fast as shit, worker bee, can’t anchor well.

I wouldn’t mind having a guy like that in rd 4 as a 3rd down specialist. No problem drafting those kinda guys later in the draft.

Or he could be our ILB with the ability to play OLB on 3rd down. Dude is so smooth and moves so well. Really could fill DJ’s spot.

Just watched some highlights, he looked good. I'd be okay with that in the 4th round, exactly a cheap Dee Ford. I also like taking a later round OLB, rather than using a higher pick which would have greater impact elsewhere.

People are going nuts over Tim Settle, but I really wouldn't be surprised after his combine fall from grace to see him get the Jerrell Powe/Cam Thomas treatment from teams and have him fall to the 5th/6th rounds while Chiefs fans go nuts every time Veach passes on him.

It's the same shit as those years. We needed big guys in the middle, and for whatever reason, we weren't able to use our high picks on the position. They eye this one particular dude who looks decent in college, peg him as the ideal 3rd round pick or so, and then when he gets passed multiple times, they go apeshit.

I’m starting to wonder if it’s a good idea to trade down in rd 2 and pick up an early 4th or late 3rd rd pick.

The value for guys after pick 50 is the same all the way through early rd 4.

That's how I feel. I don't feel we'd be giving up value by converting a later 2nd for another 3rd. Good yesr to clean up in the middle rounds.

If we aren't trading up, I'd probably rather try and bring the 2019 2nd round pick forward into 3rd round 2018

Question...does anyone think the Chiefs may have a solid grade on Holton Hill as a sleeper guy that can start at some point?

I said this in response to you in another thread, but I really like Hill and Yiadom in the 4th out of the corner group.

Though if Veach and Dorsey are like minded the Chiefs NT pick will be BJ Hill of NC State. Hill has the measurables and was a Senior Bowl stand out
