It is not going to happen. I don't give a damn if the commish is new and we don't have a read on him, the MLBPA is the most powerful union in the world, and the arbitrators have proven that they have no problem with tossing a suspension that is a lot more valid than this would be.

There is no precedent for suspending a player for trash-talking to another player. MLB is not going to suspend Ventura. If they tried, the suspension would get laughed out of the arbitration hearing.
