If only Hosmer could strike out like Mondesi; we had a chance for a Salvy walk off.

Mondesi can go to AAA as soon as Soler is up...Tired of watching Hosmer, Gordon, Moss shit the bed.

We had chance after chance after chance after chance to score tonight. We went 1-11 with RISP and the 1 hit didn't even score a run. This loss is not on Mondesi. If you want to lay it on a hitter, you can lay it on Hosmer for ending 2 innings with RISP. And you can lay it on Moss for not advancing Colon and Esky for that matter but Moss is the DH.

Yeah I would've PH for Mondesi there myself. But I still kind of feel worse about our veteran players not delivering in multiple key situations on offense. Offense is still too inconsistent, Mondesi or no Mondesi. It's still way early, but some of the trends are worrying.

Butera. He was going to have to come in the game anyway. Not that Butera is a great hitter but he can give you a professional AB. Mondesi is currently hitting with a .114 average.

Too many vets are struggling with bad streaks at once. It's kind of unacceptable given where they've come from and what they've experienced.

Moss had an okay game, but has been shit.

Hosmer is shit. Can't get a hit in a key situation to save his life.

Gordon has been shit going on just about a full season now. I'm really afraid this is the Gordon we get now. This is now the hitter he is.

Can't win with that shit. It's why we've been relying on homers to do a lot of our scoring, and that's always a recipe for disaster.

That's why I'm not in favor of big contracts. The only one of the group I want is Moose & he's going to cost too much.

I don't think Ned knows how to do that.

I am the biggest Gordon homer you're ever going to find.

And yet, these next three years are a major, major concern.
