Average gorilla weighs ~350lbs. They'd break the horse's back...

first movie was great, was disappointed in the second. hopefully, as it looks, this one is a redemption of the second.

I thought the first one was okay, but the CGI apes were just.... off. I couldn't get past it. Frankly I thought the people in monkey suits in the old movies looked better.
Never saw the second one. |

I tried to watch the first outing but the VFX were just awful. The Mark Wahlberg led entry was more believable, as they used practical effects and makeup. I can't connect with the previews, as I don't know the story and the apes look ridiculous. Practical effects and makeup would have been far more convincing, IMO. |

War for the Planet of the Apes
Guess I'm in the minority here but I think the apes look awesome and these movies are incredibly entertaining.

This is actually one of the better franchises out there right now and apparently this one REALLY delivers . Can't wait to see Caesar **** up some humans .
On a side note, I totally trust Matt Reeves directing The Batman . Very reliable director imo . |
