I don't think that anyone in their right mind thought that Eric Fisher was going to be the next Orlando Pace. He'll eventually be a top 10 LT in this league and a 10+ year starter. That's alright with me. The progress has been nice to see.

He (along with our DBs) have been a pleasant surprise. While he is nowhere near being an elite pass blocker yet, and maybe never will be, he is getting better and his run defense is solid and sometimes spectacular.

He has yet to have a full TC/PS.

Hurt his shoulder during his 1st one
Team waiting so long that surgery for the hurt shoulder cut into his 2nd one

1 injury screwed up 2 TC/PS

Has still only been able to lift with his upper body for about 5 weeks.

The stronger he gets the better he will get.

Fisher is at the beginning of year two, and is a guy who battled a shoulder injury last year which in all likelihood impeded his attempts to gain size and strength, for someone making a jump from the MAC to the NFL when the jump from the SEC to the NFL is big enough, he is fine.

The biggest thing that tells us not to worry about Fisher is that he is undeniably improving. Last year he was starting to improve at the end of the year. Today he's better than he was at the end of last year. He's going to be alright. Drafturbator tears abound.

Well if you don't count pretty much everyone after round 3, excluding Kush. Sure.

We may have 3 great players in a couple of years. That's not common.
