Ive been sharpening my blades on a pair of jeans for awhile too, I get 3-5 more shaves out of one of my dorco blades after they dull.

The ex has used DSC for a while. Their shave butter is pretty good. I feel the blades are good for a few shaves.

I have had both and I like Dollar's heavier razor handle and tilted spring head much better than Harry's . Harry's handle is just too light for me and I found myself pressing as I shaved.
