SHOOTING INSTRUCTOR ACCIDENTALLY KILLED, SHOT WITH UZI BY 9-YEAR-OLD GIRL

Wednesday, August 27, 2014
DOLAN SPRINGS, Ariz. -- Authorities say an Arizona shooting instructor has died after he was accidentally shot while showing a 9-year-old girl how to use an automatic Uzi.

Mohave County Sheriff's officials say 39-year-old Charles Vacca, of Lake Havasu City, died Monday after he was shot at the Last Stop shooting outdoor range in White Hills.

Sheriff's officials say Vacca was airlifted to the University Medical Center in Las Vegas.

According to investigators, Vacca was standing next to the girl when she pulled the trigger and the recoil sent the gun over her head.

Deputies say the girl was at the shooting range with her parents.

When will people ever freakin learn that these things on full auto can really get away from inexperienced shooters, just like the 8 year old boy who capped himself in the head with one a year or so ago.

Its like putting a 16 year old in a Dodge Viper and letting them loose on the streets.

There are already laws in place restricting this particular firearm. There are ranges where you can rent fully automatic firearms, without having to get the licenses. This appears to be one of those places. I'm glad the gun grabbers are all talking like this is something 2A supporters would get behind (handing an uzi to a 9 year old) and want to take this opportunity to bash us. The thing you all fail to realize, before you start running your mouths, is I haven't seen one single person defend the parents for letting her shoot it. Every single person I see talking about this has been extremely critical. Was I shooting at 9? Yes, .22LR and shotguns, all single shot. This is the exact same thing as giving a 16 year old the keys to a super car. They won't be able to handle it, it will get out of control and someone will get hurt.
