Fair enough ... you've had more things to get disappointed in than I have. IIRC I had the steak, which was good, and took nibbles from others' bangers and mash and chicken (and I think salmon).

The biggest positive for me, though, was just the selection of beers and scotches. That was more my "meal."

Typically would be the same for me but, I have to drive back to KC afterwards. So any drinking will be in the responsible form of moderation.

If you do decide on Flatbranch, give the Oil Change stout a try; good stuff.

Stay away from any sizeable amount of the pepper beer. It's a fun thing to try as swig of, but even a pint is way too much.

The bartenders are normally pretty cool about letting you sample, if you're sitting at the bar and drinking at least. I'd say it's a good choice.
