Hah. Ummmmm, how many of those have there been in league history? Probably not that many.

I mentioned all of those other names because they've all had some type of insanely good season (Houston's 22 sacks in 2014, Sherman's 8 INTs and shutdown 2012, Chris Harris Jr legit didn't allow a single TD in coverage for like nearly 2 calendar years at one point, etc).

According to Pro Football Focus, opposing quarterbacks have a passer rating of 53.5 when throwing to receivers Peters is covering. That’s second-best in the NFL among regular corners.

When it comes to awards, that's only going to matter if he has lots of interceptions to go with it.

QBs are already being more careful when throwing to him.

I think the book is going to be "avoid Peters early until he gets bored and sloppy, then go with a double move deep and take a shot".

With Houston returning, I hope Sutton will have the CBs pressing the crap out of most WRs. That way, double move? LOL.. no bitches.. QB wreckage!

Tackling

I love Marcus, and what he brings to this team. But in my opinion, he needs to tackle better, to move up into the elite status the next few years.

In interceptions?

Marcus Peters.

And that's with opposing passers avoiding him like the plague.

No. I think he's talking about the guy that's number 1 in dirty plays shooting himself in the leg. That would be the thug known as Talib.

It is tough to win dpoy as a corner. If your great at your job they never throw to you. If your front seven gets no pressure you have to cover longer.

Peters would need houston back and to step up pressure to the the qb to force throws to win it. Then need 8plus ints with a couple scores.

As for watt. He is amazing, but I am wonder if the growth hormone is starting to limit his career. Everyone always dismisses what DT actually did. Elite qbs never feared most of the guys today. They feared Dt. Derrick would change the game, his fumbles and strip sacks have never been close to repeated.

I have no idea why the chiefs dont show his techniques to our guys once a week. We could literally add another turnover per game if we started punching or ripping the arm down on every tackle. It would also slow the offense down as they would be thinking to always havetwo hands on the ball.

Ford has a better shot bc teams aren't even throwing at Peters anymore.

With Houston back Ford will see a lot more 1v1 and if he keeps this up he could reach 20 sacks

Von Miller is pretty close, actually.

DT played in 169 games and forced 41 fumbles.

Von Miller's played in 81 games and forced 18.
