I have a very similar mock offseason I was putting together. I think Devin Smith will be there in round 2 SOMEWHERE. There are about 7 receivers who are likely to go ahead of him and about 2-3 that will go in the same range. Will come out here shortly with my similar mock.

I'm about 99% certain that Devin Smith is going round 1, and he is definitely not going to be there at the Chiefs second round pick. I'll gladly eat shit if I'm wrong. Absolute latest I currently see him going is about pick 44.

I dunno, I just see the list of WRs and outside of the first three, I think it's anyone's guess where they go:

Cooper, White, Parker, DGB, Strong, Funchess, Agholor, Dorsett, Smith, Perriman, Green, Coates, Greene, Lockett, Montgomery

The packers killed it with the receivers they drafted in the second round.

Jennings
Cobb
Nelson
Jones (in the third)

I can see Dorsey waiting till the second or even third round to draft a receiver. It's a deep class and everybody knows it. I wonder if that will drop the draft stock of DGZb to where he will be there for us in the second. Or third.

I think this year waiting to the third round to draft a WR will be a lot like strangle jerking it.

Sure, it might feel really good at the time but you're probably going to wind up hanging yourself.

I have no idea why there is so much Devin Smith hype. It's become like an echo chamber. His 40 certainly wasn't eye-opening, his size is below what you'd want, and he ran one route in college.

Also, there is no way Morse is a 4th rounder. He's a 6th-UDFA level prospect.
