Shaun Rogers' jewelry is useful in picking up women.

I know we all talk about how these players spend tons of money on ridiculous jewelry and stuff, but take a look at Shaun Rogers. Just look at him.

While attractiveness is subjective, I think we can all agree that he's probably not the most handsome guy in the world, and while he's in good shape he still weighs 350 pounds. So when he goes to a night club, one would think that he might have trouble scoring the chicks, because other than perhaps an immodest and prurient interest in his physical proportions you aren't going to find a lot of women who want to go back to a hotel room to lie underneath an unattractive 350 pound man.

But here's where the jewelry comes into play. Shaun Rogers spends a lot of money on jewelry. It's shiny. It's flashy. And apparently it gets the attention of women, because Shaun got a woman to come to his hotel room, and it appears that the jewelry was the reason.

So the next time you laugh at a player with his big jewelry, remember Shaun Rogers and how well it worked for him. The dude bought a lot of jewelry, and he scored as a result.

Report: Shaun Rogers' jewelry stolen

A lot of party-goers can learn from Shaun Rogers' late-night blunder.

The 34-year-old New York Giants defensive tackle told police that he was the victim of a burglary in Miami Beach over the weekend, according to CBS Miami.

The alleged thief? A woman he and his buddies met at a club and then took back to his Fontainebleau hotel room.

According to police, he left his room around 1 a.m. with some friends to party at Club Liv. At the club, they met a woman who would eventually go back to his hotel room around 7 a.m. When he got to the room, he reportedly put his jewelry in the room’s safe and fell asleep shortly thereafter.

But Rogers wasn’t just tucking away a small ring or necklace, according to the police report. Among the items Rogers said were stolen were "diamond earrings worth $100,000, two wristwatches worth a combined $160,000, a gold necklace with gold pendant worth $50,000, gold bracelets worth $60,000 and a diamond Cuban necklace with a gold pendant worth $70,000."

Rogers told police both the woman and his jewelry were no longer there when he woke up around 12:30 p.m.

This isn't the first time Rogers has dealt with police. In 2007, Rogers was accused of sexually assaulting an exotic dancer. In 2010, he was arrested at Cleveland Hopkins Airport for having a loaded gun in his carry-on luggage.

See, kids? Nothing good ever happens after 7 a.m. … except breakfast, maybe.

I imagine being an NFL player is just doing mindless weightroom and on-field drills shit 50% of the time, and the other 50% of the time it is just a ****ing party with three women sucking your nuts simultaneously.

That should be on your nightstand at all times, if not there, then in your safe.

If I put it in my safe there's no room for my diamond Cuban necklace with gold pendant.

I just don't understand how some of these guys end up broke shortly after their careers are over.

Because they spend it all on jewelry and have no more income. The. They say they are broke, because it's all spent.
