Two 1st round picks for Russell Wilson in '16 and '17 or '17 and '18

Do you sign the offer sheet if the Seahawks non-exclusively tag Russell Wilson?

Pole cumming.

Yes it is. Next thing you're going to tell me is that there's no difference between a QB who averages 8 YPA vs 7 YPA.

Irrelevant. They were all re-signed, Wilson will be, and the Chiefs will suck.

Nothing changes.

In 2009, the Seahawks finsihed 25th in points scored and 21st overall.

In 2010, they added Marshawn Lynch to that offense and finished 23rd and 28th.
In 2011, they again finished 23rd and 28th.

In 2012, they drafted Russel Wilson, and the offense finished 9th and 17th.
2013, 8th and 17th.
2014, 9th and 10th.

Yeah, there's a big difference between Tarvaris Jackson and Russell Wilson.

My worthless opinion is that there are only a couple of QBs that would be accomplishing what Wilson has accomplished.
The facts say otherwise.

How many average QB's have we seen in a SB this century with a loaded team?

Dilfer in 2000.
Brady's first season starting in 2001.
Big Ben's second year starting in 2005.
Grossman in 2006.

Hell Alex was in OT of the 2011 NFCCG with a loaded team (not as talented as Seattle but close) and people think he's an average QB.

They continued to turn over their roster and draft high quality players. By the time Wilson was drafted in 2012, they had a very good football team, three years in the making.

They had an ascending defense. That's only one part of what makes a team as Chiefs fans should know all too well.

Rushing offense: 2010: 31st, 1424 yards, 3.7 YPC, 2011: 21st, 1756 yards, 4.0 YPC... (Wilson gets drafted)... 2012: 3rd, 2579 yards, 4.8 YPC, 2013: 4th, 2188 yards, 4.3 YPC, 2014: 1st, 2762 yards, 5.3 YPC.

TOTAL COINCIDENCE.

Offensive production: 2010: 28th, 19.4 PPG, 297 YPG, 4.9 yards per play, 2011: 28th, 20.1 PPG, 303 YPG, 4.8 yards per play... (Wilson gets drafted)... 2012: 17th, 25.8 PPG, 350 YPG, 5.8 yards per play, 2013: 18th, 26.1 PPG, 5.6 yards per play, 2014: 9th, 24.6 PPG, 375 YPG, 5.9 yards per play.

TOTAL COINCIDENCE.

Whoa. It's almost like if you draft a quarterback that can also run to replace your shitty quarterback, the offense improves.

WHOAAAAA! This is breaking news type shit right here. I mean, what are you going to tell me? That the Chiefs offense also improved after they got Alex Smith to replace the shitty quarterbacks we had? No way!

He's a ****ing turd that's been manipulating stats for years now.

And for the record, I couldn't give a rat's ass whether or not Wilson's TD Percentage was one full percentage point behind Marino's because he three 26 less TD's during that period.

26 touchdowns less.

Wilson's TD Percentage also dropped to 4% in 2014, when he had more attempts and more yardage than in previous seasons. So by all accounts, Wilson becomes less effective the more he's been asked to throw the ball.

Marino.

Im confused at what the point of these stats are. Yes, the Seahawks as an offense and a team improved when they replaced Tarvaris Jackson with Russell Wilson.

Was anybody disputing that?
