Hotel Recommendations?
I'm coming down for the Bears game in September and meeting one of my friends who is flying in to KCI. Looking for something kind of equidistant from the airport and the stadium. The Liberty area looks like a good bet - I don't want to stay downtown. Obviously want a decent hotel in a good area.

Any thoughts?

And no, pitching a tent at the George Brett statue is not an option.

I stayed at that ghetto ass Best Western right across the street from the stadium. The complimentary breakfast was solid, but the hotel it self is 2 out of 5 stars lol.

Too close to downtown. I'll be driving back to Illinois Monday morning and leaving from the Liberty area will be much less of a pain in the ass.

That Element is a good option. Town Place Suites here in Liberty is brand new. There is also a Fairfield, Hampton and Holiday Inn.

getting to the stadium on gameday from liberty seems like a huge pain in the ass that isn't worth the balance of being able to leave town easier

Not wanting anything that close to the stadium. I'm mainly concerned about the logistics of him getting to the airport and me getting the hell out of the area on Monday.

Sure wish the airport wasn't in bum**** Egypt. But oh well.
