Sorry, you're wrong. I can name half a dozen guys who were more clutch than Sweeney, and contributed to WINS. It's all about wins. Putting a team on your back and WINNING.

I'd say Porter, Aikens, Beltran, Seitzer, Willie Wilson and Otis were all better clutch hitters and gamers than Sweeney.

If you hit .300 for a 100 loss team, it doesn't mean much.

When he was healthy, he put up some great numbers. I can't really blame him for the rest of the team being crap.
