Who's start was worse?

Hindsight being 50/50, who started off worse in KC?

Pioli trades a 2nd round pick for Mark Castle, backs up a Brinks truck, and drafts Tyson Jackson at 3 overall.

Dorsey/Reid trade 2 2nd round picks for Alex Smith, back up another Brinks truck, draft Eric Fisher #1 overall.

Need more information. Depends on who was available with the picks that were given up. Smith is a better QB than Castle was.

I'm sure it happened near the end, I can't think of a time Cassel ever looked as bad as Smith did last night before GB went into prevent. That was Tyler Palko bad.

pioli was worse.
Dorsey gave us Kelce, Davis, Parker, Abdullah, S. Smith and Howard who have all actually done something

They're equally smelly at this point.

Don't let Dorsey off the hook for the Dee Ford pick, either.

There's no question Dorsey has done a better job than Pioli. I'm just comparing the first moves they both made.

Looking at how terrible both QB's are, and how lousy those draft picks were, it's almost funny how evenly matched this is.

I'd have to give a leg up to Dorsey for losing this one though. Both drafts were terrible at the top, but that 2nd #2 pick for a backup QB not good enough for another team....

Agreed...I'd even argue it was worse than the Fisher pick. Passed on Benjamin, Bridgewater, and Carr to take that waste.

I'm not putting AS on Dorsey's shoulders, that is on Reid, 100%.

Dorsey has loaded the roster with talent. By far his most glaring mistake was drafting Ford over Bridgewater. And that's not indefensible. Reid is struggling. The juggling act on the O-line and the bizarre devotion to Alex Smith are dragging his show down.

I cannot blame Dorsey for Ford. They needed an eventual replacement for Hali. There is nothing wrong with that.
