I'm telling you, Cassel will be here in 13. I think he'll start and when he slips up then whoever our backup is will take over. Even if we do draft Geno or Wilson they won't be ready come week 1, no way in hell.

Don't get your hopes up. Oh and trust me I want Cassel to GTFO too.

If it's economically beneficial for them to cut him, they will.

Well, it's going to be hard to beat the sales of a No 7 jersey

No, Cassel would be an awful backup... he'd be an awful #3 guy. He doesn't belong in the NFL. Hell, I wouldn't want him as my #3 guy if I had a favorite CFL team. I wouldn't want him as my #3 guy if I had an Arena football team. I wouldn't want him as my #3 guy for my UFL team (or whatever league it was that Palko played in and was cut).

Matt Cassel is not worthy of playing football... anywhere or in any situation (except starting for the Broncos, Raiders, Chargers, Colts or Patriots).

Of course, I don't see it happening though. Several people like reflect to on what Cassel did in 2010 with "good coaches". Apparently, since 2010 he hasn't had good coaches like that. Now we bring in QB guru Andy Reid. They'll see if Andy can fix him before they go all in on a "risky" 1st round QB.

We have to look at the big picture here, there's not 1 QB worth taking at #1. I love Geno and Tyler, but to take them at #1? There's just too many red flags. I'm not getting my hopes again for this team. I always get excited for nothing. I'm just trying to be real, don't think I'm trolling because it's not like that. I think Reid will work with Cassel. Shitty I know.

Such as? (Not being Luck or RG3 doesn't count).

They have no more red flags than any other QB ever taken #1 overall in the last 10 years. The only reason it is even a question to some people as to whether or not we take a QB is because of the two QBs last year.

Cassel was a POS QB with the Patriots. Cassel was a POS QB in 2010. This is a terrible take and you should apologize to all the electrons you enslaved to disgrace us with this awful post.

If I were you, I would claim that the cat trotted across my keyboard and this is the crap that came out.

Maybe you spilled coffee on your keyboard and this gibberish was posted to Chiefsplanet.

Maybe five star broke into your house as a last ditch effort to rehabilitate his reputation and posted this from your computer.

There are thousands of reasonable explanations for this post. The least reasonable explanation is that these are your true thoughts.

Cassell won't be back simply because the fans would pissed. The front office knows they must move on and head in a new direction. This direction does not include Cassell. Clark has proven he is not as dumb as we thought...no way Cassell is brought back, PR nightmare.

I hope you're right and I'm wrong.

I would love to be wrong in this case, I just don't want to be ****ed over again. Come draft day I'm expecting us to draft Jockel. When we do, the remote will go flying into the wall. Tired of being let down.

If we draft Geno or any other QB with the #1 pick, no way Cassel will start over them.

This is by far one of the dumbest things I've read.

Andy Dalton started as a rookie in the AFCN with an OC from the ****ing arena league and went to the playoffs yet you think that Geno Smith or Tyler Wilson won't be ready to start? Cam Newton, a much rawer prospect who wasn't nearly as developed as a quarterback as either Geno, Tyler, or Wilson was able to start for a much worse Panthers team.

nah, those teams have decent OL's whereas this team has not.

McNabb and whoever dumb****s that pimp Cassel is insulting 100+K Chiefs fans intelligence. It would be a BIG **** you to the fans if Chiefs bring back Matt Cassel.
