You say "Game Manager". I say he ran Harbaugh's system the way he wanted it ran.

Vikings will pick top 10 next year. The full trade will be something like:

2024 pick 23
2024 pick 232

For

2024 pick 42
2025 pick 36
2024 pick 188

Not a bad trade for Houston at all

Totally agree with Simms' evaluation of McCarthy here. That's what i saw too. Time stamped for your convenience.

Simms gets a lot of shit for his QB rankings every year but like, he does a better job than anyone I see when you review them years later.

Only the Zach Wilson one that I can remember being a big whiff, and that's the Jets.

And that's not a knock on either Jones or McCarthy. I think Jones got a raw deal and had his career ****ed because of the Patriots. I just don't see a franchise QB in either one of them.

You could absolutely be right, but I think McCarthy has more talent and upside than Mac Jokes did, and that wil be the difference.

I mean, the Vikings are clearly preparing to trade up for a guy, and the Giants desperately want to move on from Daniel Jones now that they have buyers remorse.

I don't buy that they'll try, I just don't see any of the teams in the top 3 actually punting on a QB. All the moves from the Bears, Commanders, and Pats screams QB with their top 3 picks.

And because of that, I don't think the Vikings make that trade unless they like McCarthy too.

We might see a 2017 sort of trade where the Bears traded up one spot with the 49ers. You never know exactly what they're thinking about any of the top guys, so if they think they can trade down from say #1 to #2, or #2 to #3, they might do it.

McCarthy looks like a more mobile Sam Bradford to me. Not a strong arm but accurate.

I want a QB with a high ceiling. Can totally see why the Packers did that with Jordan Love. Love can do things you can’t teach. Things McCarthy couldn’t dream of doing

Don't see that either.

The Bears are clearly taking Caleb. The Colmmanders get their choice after. If any of the teams in the top 3 trade, it would be the Pats, and I just don't see that happening when they have no QB.

61 MPH ball. He has a strong arm.

For those who are wrongly under the impression that McCarthy has a weak arm, here's a list of past QB's velocity. Patrick Mahomes threw a 62 MPH, as did Josh Allen. So yeah, 61 from JJ is nice.

The Pats could easily trade down, grab more picks and take a guy like Nix if he's there.

Certainly possible, even if I think it's unlikely.

You just rarely see teams trade down then take a QB. Usually, you're just going to take your guy and not **** around.
