Most teams win wothout having to score 30 - 40. KC cant b/c the defense is terrible. Specifically the Inside LB'S and Secondary.

Literally everyone else sucks or is a rookie that’s learning.

Take out the rookie players that are learning and you have veterans who are dogshit. Every secondary player not named Jordan Lucas or Kendall fuller is trash.

Dorsey and our scouts ****ed this team hard. Blown draft picks and failed character character concerns with Peters and Hunt.

It certainly doesn't help when your leading rusher is your QB. It's a little easier to control the game when you have a competent running game.

Broncos down by 7 @ KC and no TO's, under 2 min to go = we lose in OT
Titans down by 2= defense gives up game winning FG
Chiefs up 14 over the Jets = Chiefs lose to the Jets
Chiefs up 4 TD's over Indy = we lose to Indy
Chiefs up 3+ TD's over Ten = we lose to Ten
Chiefs up 21 over Pit = we squeak out the win
Rams down by 4, no TO's under 2 min to go = Rams win

This guy has a pattern of not getting the clutch stop or dominating other teams.

There have neen a few rare exceptions but they are just that....rare

all those losses are on Reid/Smith, except for the one in bold, which is the game where we had a 24-17 lead with like 45 seconds left, Reid called a pass to JC who FUMBLED TO THE BRONCOS WHO SCORED TO TIE THE GAME.

If you blame Sutton for that, then I don't know what to tell you.

I blame Sutton because in regulation all we had to do was keep Denver out of the end zone. They had 0 timeouts, 1:45 and had to go 80 yards. We keep them out, we win. It's that simple.

Aside from having Hitchens covering the deep middle on that Cook TD, he called a decent game. Players just need to make plays.

The ILBs and safeties on this team are shit tier. We get gashed consistently on the ground which gives the opponent manageable 3rd downs. We can't afford to move bodies from the middle of the field to help our shitty corners either.

I've concluded that our major issue is effort. When these guys decide to man up and tackle, this defense is more than good enough to get the job done. They just need to do a better job of bottling up these runs. Our pass rushers, particularly Ford, really excel when they can pin their ears back and get after the QB. Tough to do that when we're consistently giving them 3rd and <4 looks with the full playbook open.

This is 100% accurate.

This Sutton witchhunt reminds me of when everyone had their pitchforks and torches out for Greg Robinson because he was SO terrible (and he was), but remember the stupid predictions when Gunther was brought back - 'top 10!' "TOP 5!!" "DEFINITELY SUPER BOWL THIS YEAR BECAUSE GUNTHER". But because they didn't upgrade the PLAYERS the defense actually got worse, because the players were still terrible and still didn't make plays.

You could replace Bob Sutton with Bill Belichick, but if a mother****er won't tackle, it would have the same result.
