This is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cool. Sad one person died, but while I didn't know him, I'm sure he's smiling from heaven. I'm sure God was happy to receive him, and the boys/families will never forget. All praise to the Thai SEALs and the civilians who worked together to make this happen...

Last report I read was that a doctor and two divers were left in the cave, but all the boys were out.

I saw something about the doctor being the last one out. The doc then learned that his dad had died while the doctor was inside the cave with the kids.

More we find out about this the more amazing this becomes. Apparently the Pumps failed just as the last of the soccer team was extracted from cave. This left the Doc and Thai Navy Seals and some workers removing equipment to scramble out for their lives from fast rising waters.

It also sounds like none of the boys swam or dived on own. The were fastened to stretchers and towed under and above water and carried through mud by divers till reaching the staging area. The boys appear to have been sedated with anti anxiety meds and possibly asleep along way.

A retired US Navy rescue diver on radio today said this easy goes down as the recue of all rescues. Its just miraculous they got any out much less all.

Wow, just WOW!!! I would LOVE to meet the people who made this happen. I've dove more than my fair share of shitty water, but I couldn't imagine this.

It really sucks that the original post disappeared, the fact that they were even found regardless of their situation was cause for relief. Also this is the only thread keeping everyone apprised of what was going on. Thanks Baby Lee.
