AMC, Regal, and other chains are pulling The Interview

I'm pretty surprised at how gutless everyone is. I have no idea how funny the movie will be, but I liked the trailer and I was hoping to see it. I wonder how much they could make if it goes straight to on demand.

Sony is not that smart.

They floated the idea of an "Aunt Mae" Spider-Man film just to keep the rights

The premise would make a great political black comedy like Dr. Strangelove. Rogen and Franco are no Kubrick or Sellers though.

Watched it last night. It was neither as bad as I thought it would be nor anywhere near as good as it could have been.

I didn't find Franco's character as obnoxious whatsoever. He was a schlocky TV host, and surprisingly, I thought he was good. Rogen, on the other hand, was the same as always. He was a little reserved in some scenes but overall, I didn't see the character, just Seth.

Overall, it was a missed opportunity, IMO.

I wanna watch it because of the hype...but im so sick of Seth Rogen. He stole his stupid, pointless and not-that funny banter style from Family guy. Sure it was funny in his first 2-3 movies....but at this point it's beyond annoying.
