Well, how would you break it down?

Romeo was the head coach for three games.

2 of those 3 games were against playoff teams.

We beat both of them.

The game we lost was due to 2 blocked field goals.

The team played energized, focused and efficient in the preseason opener and looks to have upgraded nearly half the roster if you factor in difference makers returning from injury, players signed in free agency and the further development of current players going into their second years after having no offseason last year due to the lockout.

Thats not even mentioning the draft class...which should help solidify the lines for years to come.

Some of you need to wake up.

Dane got into some of that fine Hollywood cocaine or something this offseason. He's gone full homer.

This reminds me of his days spent pimping Thigpen and Herm as a winning combination.

Ah well. Nasty, vindictive, hellspawn Dane will emerge when we're 3-5.

I'm starting to feel sorry for Atlanta.

After last seasons debacle, the Falcons may be our a whipping boy.

Just a hunch...

Week 1's gonna be a great big wake up call for this whole fanbase.

Perennial playoff teams don't lose to Week 1 Matt Cassels, oh ye of the 86-yard variety.

Or 7 points. You may pick either edition!

What eldritch horrors lie within the right arm of unlucky #7 this fall?

This is all documented and I refuse to believe anything else can happen until I see it happen.

Cannot get the sight of Tim Tebow feeding Cassel shit at Arrowhead out of my head. Until I have a different image floating around up there, sauce for the goose.
Agreed. The Tebow win here is horrible. However, having Jaamal, Berry, and our improvements makes that a win IMO. Cassel has beat better teams than that however.

Recognizing the talent on this team and being optimistic about it is not homerism.

It's pretty homerish to say we're gonna be in the AFCC.

You mean Quinn right? Stanzi didn't throw one.

I agree though, Quinn threw the ball too high for a guy of Wylie's size...

We could do sigs for a month. Or even more. My board holdings are up for grabs during the regular season.

Are people still underselling Atlanta?

They only appear to be mediocre because they play in a shit rape division in the NFC, which at this moment DWARFS the AFC in terms of quality teams and talent.

Sorry they're not fearsome to you. They only had to play the eventual Super Bowl champions two years in a row. And both of those Super Bowl teams had QBs who put up ****ing unbelievable games. Works of art, really.

But much like Marty's Chiefs of the 90s, I wouldn't want to play those assholes during the regular season.
