No one is scared of Kobe Bryant?
Your mancrush on Jordan has not only clouded your vision, it's turned you into a cross between Glen Davis and Riddick Bowe in terms of intellectual ability.

and I could post one of the greatest pieces of basketball literature every published for the 10th time called "Jordan's Moment" explaining the significance of Michael Jordan and the '98 Bulls... and how he refused to lose...even when all the odds were against that team... People are cracking me up referring to the Jazz as equals to the Bulls that year...they were heavy, heavy favorites ESPECIALLY considering Pippen's back injury. |

P.S. I just glanced at an article today that showed LeBron has a higher success rate than Kobe Bryant does in clutch moments...
so that garbage about Kobe having more game winners than Jordan is just that... Garbage. Anybody can manipulate the stats to make things appear different than they really are... |

There wasn't much difference other than the fact that the Bulls were a little older that year and won 62 games instead of 69. They were forced to a game 7 against Indiana while Utah had a week off before the finals. Nobody outside the state of Utah considered the Jazz the favorites over the Bulls that season.

For the MILLIONTH time... Just read this for christ's sake. The Jazz WERE favored, had homecourt advantage...and were facing a team that nearly lot to the Pacers in the ECF with their 2nd best player who missed half of the season and had a very severe back injury that he could hardly play through... but try and act as if the Bulls were the better team that year... FACT: Michael Jordan REFUSED to let the Bulls lose...he wouldn't let it happen. That's why they won. and that's something no other basketball player has ever possessed... and that's why Michael Jordan is the man and the greatest of all time. and that's why Kobe is closer to Harold "Baby Jordan" Miner than Michael Jordan himself. |

I really think Hootie secretly thinks Kobe is better. Why else would he beat this drum so much when the majority of the people arguing against him have admitted MJ is better? Why else would he ALWAYS bring it up?

a) quote the NewYorker for your sports information b) keep saying that Kobe is closer to Harold Miner. c) Refuse to admit his greatness, and continually try to re-create history to make Jordan seem even more superhuman is hilarious. Kobe Bryant, when it's all said and done, is going to finish as a top 5-10 player in NBA History. You are like a 5 year old trying to prove to everyone how tough their father is. We get it. Jordan is the best of all time. No one is refuting that. But you refuse to give Kobe his due at all. I know you were about 12 years old during those playoff series, and like to talk like you were some megafan and can remember every playoff game, yadda, yadda, yadda but there was never a playoff series that the Bulls weren't favorites in when Jordan was rolling.

I think Hootie is Peter Pan and refuses to grow up and realize that there are other players in the NBA that have been pretty awesome other than Michael Jordan.
