No timeouts remaining on the final possession for Sean Miller's Arizona is even funnier when you remember the stunt he pulled during the P12 tournament.

UCLA has played a lot bad ball, but when they're on they're tough. Ball is a tough guard for any of our guards save maybe Jackson, and their bigs move well, so Bragg will foul out in the first half.

Why can't he still make it? The NBA is as finesse and foul call happy as can be now. It favors guys like Frank who can both take it down hill and shoot the three, because they have to give you space you if they bump you on the drive you get FTs.

Isiah Thomas did it. Ty Lawson did it. Jameer Nelson did it. Tyler Ullis is doing it. Frank Mason is more athletic than ANY them.

Frank Mason is not more athletic than Isiah Thomas. Perhaps as athletic but not more. Thomas is a super athlete.

Agreed.

Thomas has a lower body explosiveness that isn't matched by anyone in the NBA, currently.

... That came across so wrong.

AZ was languishing the 15-20 range all year in Pomeroy and Sagarin. Maybe they were just a fraud. Maybe that bodes poorly for Oregon. (Who is 15th)

Hasn't KU been around 12th in Pomeroy all year? I don't think Kenpom's system is all that, either. I mean, it's good, but it has some shortcomings. It punishes KU for all of the close games this year. Going by what has happened so far this tournament, it appears that KU played close because of what many of were saying, no depth. The starters had to conserve energy for the finish. Since there are so many timeouts and longer ones in the NCAA tourney, it appears that KU is putting their foot on the gas much earlier. Just my .02.

Fair enough. I tend to think Mason is more explosive, stronger. Thomas is more of a craftier scorer. Both have comparable vertical leaps. Mason has a 40 or 41 inch vertical leap, just not a long wingspan. Thomas has a 38-40 inch one depending on which source you look. Frank Mason will perform off the charts at the NBA combine. I expect his lane agility and straight line speed to be off the charts.

KUs suddenly moved up to 3

I don't trust Pomeroy nearly as much As Sagarin. His ratings are wayyyy too suspicious at Tourney time as he jolts winning tourney teams up his ladder. Fishy
