Movies and TV Ok fess up, what movie(s) have made you cry ??? - Page 12

More recently for me, was Marley & Me. Had to put my standard schnauzer to sleep around that time and just lost it at the end.

When I was little, I cried at the end of Homeward Bound when the boy and family didn't think that old aged golden retriever made the journey.

That's about it though....guess I got a soft spot in my heart for dogs. They're great animals.

"Leaving Las Vegas"

I don't think any particular scene made me cry, but I remember being emotionally exhausted after watching it. It's gotta be the saddest movie I've ever seen.

Blood In, Blood Out when that rival gang jumps Cruzito and break his back dropping him on that fire hydrant.

That's how I felt after Million Dollar Baby. I cried through most of the entire last half of the movie.

The circus is what killed me the most. Bottom line that movie will have you crying the whole time.

I answered Forrest Gump as my best movie just as they were answering Forrest Gump for their worst movie. They said they actually got up in the middle of the movie at a theater and walked out. Once again, I just don't get it. Great movie.

Definitely one of my all-time favorites. Like you said, it's completely original.

The Elephant Man. I saw it as a kid, and I remember feeling incredibly sad for John Merrick. Not sure if cried, but may have.

Remember Me, I remember getting very teary eyed at the end. I think it was mostly because my son had written a story not long before he passed away, and the end of his story was pretty much how the movie ended. I was kinda in shock when it happened, I remember reading the story quite a few times after he passed, and then when the ending was the same it was very overwhelming.

Same here.

The scene in Forrest Gump that always gets me isn't the Jenny grave scene, but at the wedding when Lt. Dan shows up with his wife. I don't know why, maybe it's because Lt. Dan has transformed his life.

I admit, I cry at lots of movies. Always have.

A partial list:

The end of "It's a Wonderful Life"
The airplane graveyard scene in "The Best Years of Our Lives"
The end of "My Dog Skip" (and pretty much any dog movie where the dog dies at the end, which is most of them)
The end of "Bang the Drum Slowly"

The scene in "Big Wednesday" when William Katt returns from the war
