Some joint on the east coast. Ran into Aaron Hernandez there. Was going to ask for his autograph but I didn't want to hang around.

Winslow's in KC. It's crazy to me how a place can have one of the best locations in the entire city and still consistently churn out absolute shit food and service.

They used to have the absolute best ribs in town. But the last time I went there they were not even close to the same. It was $30.00 bucks for a rack of ribs and I was disappointed. The place was vacant, and it was lunch time. |

I don't think so, the sign was still up the last time I was there. And I sat on the patio less than a year ago. But it's possible, seeing as how there is never anyone there unless they are having beers outside.

Bandanas in Iowa City, IA. I ate it because I was hungry but I cried inside.

Dickey's and Gates top the list for me. Dickey's meat isn't so bad but their sauce sucks bad. And I haven't eaten at Gates in more than 10 years. The last time I did, I had a brisket sandwich that was full of fat and was like chewing on leather. I've never been back.

granted, I've only eaten their sammiches....but man, they were bad. anymore finding good beef/brisket in this town that isn't like chewing a boot is becoming harder and harder.

As far as Famous Dave's, went there once and thought it was decent... wouldn't ever go there again in KC, but if I really had a BBQ craving, I'd consider it.
