Its not a platoon. Moose is getting a day off. Players get those sometimes. With Hosmer, its either him or Butler, and Butler is better.

This early in the season nobody should need rest.

This team needs winning momentum more than anything ... not a day off.

We just had a breakout offensive day and that idiot Yost is 'icing' his own hitters.

Yost does the same dam thing with Pitchers ... leave in a guy that's about to implode, yanks a guy that just had a 1,2,3 inning.

He seems to have no 'feel' for what to do.

Meh, if this were against an AL team I would agree but given it's an NL team in their house (their rules) I don't see much of a problem with it

It is much easier to win n games vs the NL. Look at the inter league splits.
