What do the people on the Caribbean islands do during hurricanes? Do they all get out of Dodge, or do they hunker down? I've been to a few islands over the years and it seems like the local residents probably don't have a lot of resources to travel out of the path.

We live in an amazing time. 100 years ago folks would have just been kicking it until the hurricane rolled in top of them and pulverized them. Now you get a solid week notice that you're gonna get ****ed and you get to decide if you're going to heed that warning or hang out and see if you're gonna get pulverized.
