OT is quite strong at the top and there will be good ones available when we pick.

Brace yourselves. We're going full Reid 1st rd.

A lot of Oregon State games? No, I don't see every game. I live in the middle of B1G country, not on the Pacific Coast. I've seen a few of his games this year. I don't dislike Mannion, I just fallen off of my "I want him" list. Read that as I don't want him to be a Chief as much as a few other QBs. I wouldn't be pissed about drafting the kid. I like Carden better though, for the reasons I stated. I've seen Carden a few times too. Both have benefited from very good receivers in their careers and that is something to note going forward.

That seems like the absolute perfect 1st round pick, from Dorsey's perspective that is. Poe is going to be a FA after the 2015 season. Just the right time to draft for his position and let the draftee sit on the bench for a year.

now that youve explained your reasoning behind neglecting the o line, there really isnt any sense in drafting a guy in position of need, if you dont think that guys going to contribute, or has a very high celing. i dont agree with your assesment of the olineman, i think there are more than a few guys in this draft ready to step in day one.but fwiw i do really like the players you picked. shelton, with poe at end would be nasty. do like kendricks a lot (dont think hes there in the third though). ive said here many times how much i like diggs and plummer.

Mike McGlynn is the worst rated G on pro football focus. Donald Stephenson looks like Shawn Merroidman after he was busted and Ryan Harris is just as bad.

This team needs a new LG and RT bad. I don't care how they do it. I would prefer free agency, but knowing Reid he'll probably take a tackle rd 1.

When has Stephenson seen the field since he's been back?

I still believe that Stephenson has somewhere in there a pretty solid NFL level offensive tackle. He looked the part last season. I think it's more of a continuity thing than a 'roid thing.

McGlynn is horrible and it hasn't helped Fisher having him next to him.

I really believed that Jeff Allen was going to have his breakout season, but that torn bicep/elbow thing just derailed everything.

Like I've said, I think we are one solid guard away from being a decent offensive line. IMO, John Miller looks to be one of, if not the best true left guard in this draft, though NFL guys love putting college tackles into that spot.

I'm just not enamored with the offensive line guys in this years draft and don't think that there are many who are going to be a better option than what we have in either Allen or Stephenson for the 2015 season.

If Stephenson can't crack this line at this point in the season, with the "playoffs" on the line... then he's toast.

And didn't Allen suck something horrible before he got hurt too?

Allen only had 3 negative grades in pass blocking last year and two were against dominant front 7's in Houston and Buffalo.

Hell Allen had only 3 negative grades in pass protection as a rookie as well. He also has never received a negative grade in screen blocking, which is probably a big reason why Andy loves him.

He's got solid footwork and technique a pass blocker, but it's obvious that his problem was that he wasn't strong enough to be the drive blocker for this type of scheme.
That's why he went to LeCharles Bentley's camp last offseason to work on his strength on a technique.

Losing Jeff Allen might be biggest blow to this team this year. He's not a great player, but he is a decent pass protector. Compared to Mike McGlynn, the WORST RATED G ON PFF, we downgraded significantly and it's killed this offense.

I'd draft Kendrick and send one of our late picks to balt for Arthur brown and see if he can still play
