Gotta assume Reid/Management don't want to add any confusion to the mix and fire Sutton so late into the season on a playoff run. I can't argue with that. At the same time though, can you really get much worse?

After the Chargers game, I got too emotionally invested again and I'm not letting it happen anymore. With Reid's conservative play calling and never going for the jugular and how our defense is swiss cheese. I'll just enjoy the ride with no expectations.

That's the whole mind ****ing part of it all. When we get up big, Reid goes conservative. I don't know if it is either because he wants to be a nice guy and not embarrass the other team/coach or he's being a miser and trying to keep his playcalling a secret for another time.

If he PUT THE HAMMER DOWN it would cover some of the D ineptitude and save his longtime friend and colleague's ass for the most part.

But he does it time and time again and we show our ass because of it. And no, I don't expect him to change. Which is stupid.

It really does reflect very badly on both Reid and Veach how one contrived to keep this man in the job, and the other managed to provide him with the worst secondary known to man. Reid's flaws are well documented, but Veach really needs to look himself in the mirror next offseason, because his signings are draft picks haven't lived up to the billing thus far.
