We've had games this season where KU had a favorable whistle, but I still don't think yesterday's was one of them.

Anybody who watched that game knows why the FT differential was what it was (WVU was hacking/grabbing every player on the court on every possession and had virtually no points in the paint all game as they were taking jump shots) and anybody who watched knows WVU deserved far more fouls called against them than what they had.

WVU turns the game of basketball into absolute trash because they know the refs can't call all of their fouls. It is everything this sport shouldn't be and I have no sympathy for them when it doesn't pay off.

I have no sympathy for WVU whatsoever and never will after they busted up Frank in 2016. With Huggins style yesterday was deserved and justifiable.

But, you know, I'm also not going to complain about where the whistles were blown in the last three minutes of the game.

The announcers were after the refs for letting go some pretty blatant fouls by WVU during the game, and for missing the basket interference call, and for waving off a KU bucket on an incredibly dubious foul under the basket.

Lucky this year or the past 13 years?

Preston is the equivalent of a season ending injury before the season even began.

Sure it was dumb on his and/or somebody's part. But compared to the squad Self thought he had recruited it was an unlucky loss of another big guy.

Yep, I keep thinking if DeVonte goes down, seasons over, as they cant even let the guy rest for a minute or the team cant seem to function! Dok, would almost be as important loss, but not quite.
