Phoenix Area meetup--This Saturday, May 20th

Scho is looking to meetup while he's in town.

Mr and Mrs Lewdog are down for going.

Looking at a place The Phoenix Ale Brewery Central Kitchen. Lots of drinks and good looking food. Thinking of meeting between 2-2:30.

All CP area members welcome.

If you are scared of coming I can vouch that Why Not and eDave are not rapists.

I cannot vouch for Scho but I'll put money on it that he's not.

Good luck with that, Lew.

I've gone to birthday parties nearly every weekend since 2011. There's no way out of it because you don't want your child to be anti-social plus, your wife will make you go and if you don't, you'll never hear the end of it.

In all honesty, we have a great group of parents and friends that have been borne out of the preschool my children have attended since 2011 and I truly enjoy hanging out with everyone. At least one parent of each child is in the entertainment business, so there's always tons to talk about, which makes the time go by quickly. Plus, the kids love it.

Just be sure to put it into your budget. When they're young $10-15 dollar gifts suffice but when they're older, it's $25-35. Last year, one couple gave my child a $100 Amazon Gift card, which of course, I reciprocated later that year.

Won't be able to make it this time, but at least Sauto will be there to provide a mod presence.

Are you guys new fathers or something?

Here's what I would do.

Tell them you're going to a birthday party. Show up and meet us with your boys. Point to Scho and tell them it's his birthday.

Seriously, parenting is easy. Use your noggins.

eDave, we'd like if you can attend.

Also, any of you feel free to bring any women. My wife will be in attendance as we are going to our friends house in Scottsdale afterwards. I offered to my wife that she may sit at a table by herself and pretend not to know me at this meetup. Currently, she is undecided.

Well unless scho or sauto are way more badass than the rest of us, she will certainly be the coolest one there so sitting by herself makes sense.
