Whether you loved him or hated him, he helped bring this team out of the toilet and his foundation is doing good work. Some fans are saying thank you by donating $11 dollars to the Alex Smith Foundation. It's not a lot of money for most people, and 95% of money given to the foundation goes directly to the kids.

I'm as excited for Mahomes as the next person, but for **** sakes: some of you guys need to take a step back from the keyboard sometimes.

Say what you want about him as a quarterback (and many already have), but I was proud of his work in the community. I'm glad that there's an outlet like this to let him know that he was appreciated for his work off the field even if he couldn't contribute to our standards on it.
