Chiefs fans thanking Alex Smith in a unique way

https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2018/...n-a-unique-way

Whether you loved him or hated him, he helped bring this team out of the toilet and his foundation is doing good work. Some fans are saying thank you by donating $11 dollars to the Alex Smith Foundation. It's not a lot of money for most people, and 95% of money given to the foundation goes directly to the kids.

The help he's giving these kids in the real world is far more important than any success or failure he's ever had on the football field.

He's gone now. The bad man can't hurt you anymore. Now nut up, you ****ing pussy.

Donated. Really this is probably my favorite of the foundations I've heard of these guys having. Glad to make a small contribution, and think it's a great send off. Wish nothing but the best for Alex. Still glad he's gone.

Agreed. Kids don't ask to be born. It's bad enough these fostered kids have to go through life missing out on any chance of the traditional nuclear family. Then when they turn 18 they're just kind of told 'Alright, you're an adult. Go figure shit out on your own.' Pretty sad, really.

Donated. Some of you are either too poor to afford the $11 donation or are complete douchebags. If you don’t want to donate, fine, but don’t come into the thread and shit all over it just because you don’t like Alex Smith the QB. Alex Smith the philanthropist is actually doing something extraordinary for these kids.

No one was happier to see him go than me, but...

Alex Smith is a class act. Don't have anything against him. Just not the guy to get us to where we needed to be

Not worth being ate up with anger, especially not for a guy like Alex. The man has done more in his life than most of you guys could dream of.

Same here. He does good things, just not necessarily on the field all of the time.

The way I figure it, it's worth $11 for us to part ways.
