I can't blame Reid for wanting to play conservative. Every time he tries to open up the offense Alex lets him down.

Do you know how many times the Vermeil offense scored off a check down to the back? That's not a bad thing when the back is the best offensive weapon on your team.

Just get used to losing if there's any sort of come back/two minute situation. It's not worth feeling any other way.

I know we shouldn't have folded and surrendered a seven minute drive, but I just wish I could have felt reasonably confident with a sixty yard field and ninety seconds.

The Vermeil offense was much more balanced though. Trent at least had the threat of a long ball.

Your problem is that you say when the chips are down you'd get against Smith. What you should say is that when the chips are down you'd bet against the chiefs. Way too much import on QB while ignoring team.
