I can't blame Reid for wanting to play conservative. Every time he tries to open up the offense Alex lets him down.

He could be a bit shy given the O-line, to take that extra split second to step up and hit a guy, but he has to start doing it. The Chiefs are not winning because of Alex Smith, they just aren't losing because of him either.

When the chips are down, I'd bet money against Alex Smith. I want to see better. He does need better, more consistent receivers, but that doesn't excuse his lapses.

I don't say, well my co-workers suck so its okay if I don't do my job well. Alex Smith needs to be better. So do several of his teammates.

Do you know how many times the Vermeil offense scored off a check down to the back? That's not a bad thing when the back is the best offensive weapon on your team.

Just get used to losing if there's any sort of come back/two minute situation. It's not worth feeling any other way.

I know we shouldn't have folded and surrendered a seven minute drive, but I just wish I could have felt reasonably confident with a sixty yard field and ninety seconds.

The Vermeil offense was much more balanced though. Trent at least had the threat of a long ball.

He threw it away like we were about to go up 10 points, not 3.

Christ, you rolled out, at least try to tuck it and run with it.

His dick lately has shrunk up so far into his pubic bone that it's turned into a vagina these past two games. We got away with it last week because our defense was nails again. This time they weren't as good, and he didn't do what he had to.

I never praised him. Seattle was a TEAM effort. Smith only had 109 yards 0 TDS that game. I never once said he was the reason

Your problem is that you say when the chips are down you'd get against Smith. What you should say is that when the chips are down you'd bet against the chiefs. Way too much import on QB while ignoring team.
