Jesus God, we're so screwed next week. It's gonna be a college-style blowout. 70-0 is not out of the question.

Mannings offense is just too precise, that TD pass looked like something I do on Madden when I was killing it on HOF mode... instant success without a chance of stopping it.
Have fun Denver, until you run into Seattle again that is. |

As much as you dont think, Manning would make our Receivers look that good. He puts the ball on the money almost all the time. there is no underthrowing or overthrowing or low balls. He puts it where its easy to catch and hits them in stride.
He's done it with pretty much ever recievers he's had. I remember going into last year, people were saying Manning is gonig to suck because he had no wide receivers to throw too. Season starts and all of a sudden his Receivers look really good. Its HIM! |

I talk a lot of crap about guys like Romo, Stafford, etc, but this is my honest view of the QB landscape in this league.
Only elite QBs in the league right now: Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, and Drew Brees. Then you have Superbowl winning QBs who are still really good but not quite elite, Big Ben and Russell Wilson, as well as a guy like Philip Rivers who played at an elite level last year but needs to do it again to really move up into the first group. Those are really the only guys that anyone could honestly say are a cut above the rest. Then you have a large group of QBs who are all honestly good enough to win a championship with but have too many flaws to be considered Elite (a term that gets thrown around way too loosely). These are all good QBs but everyone is going to rank them differently (from Matt Ryan, Newton, Luck, Smith, Romo, Kaepernick, etc). People will nitpick about every QB in this group, depending on who they like more, but they each have their different strengths and flaws. It's kind of a "pick your flavor" group when it comes to ranking them. Then you have Eli Manning who looks like he is done being a good QB in this league now but is still starting in NY. After that group you have the developing/can't really judge yet guys (Geno Smith, EJ Manuel, rookie Derek Carr, Tannehill). Then the final group is the placeholder QBs who aren't really starting quality and will be replaced soon. (McCown, Hoyer, Cassel, and Henne) That's my unbiased/not-purposely crapping on other QBs view. |

It'll never happen, but how ****ing sweet would it be if the Chiefs beat the Broncos in Denver? I wouldn't care if we went 0-14 after next week if we could just somehow beat Denver next week.

One of the reasons Manning never answered the Chief's calls when he left Indy, he was nice, but he knew the Hunts and knew he'd be strapped with shit to work with and zero commitment from ownership to win anything. IOW, some players don't just want to win, they'll do almost anything to win. We have too few player like that, and once we have one, they leave for better franchises. Honestly deep down, i want them too. I want the Chiefs to be as embarrassed as possible. I think thats the only ****ing way this team will ever turn it around. Just keep getting embarrassed. I dont see any other way. This doing good enough to lose in the play offs shit is just getting old. WE are the only fanbase outside of Cleveland and Detroit who dont have back to back good years or even a string of 3-4 in a row. ****, even the Raiders have since the turn of the century and they have 10 straight 10 loss seasons.
