About the Show

A high-octane, globe-spanning thriller with storylines ripped from today's headlines, Strike Back, Cinemax's first scripted prime-time original drama series, focuses on two members of a top-secret intelligence agency known as Section 20: Michael Stonebridge, a British sergeant on the elite counter-terrorism team, and Damien Scott, a former U.S. Delta Force operative who was discharged on the eve of the U.S. invasion of Iraq. Stonebridge, Scott and the rest of Section 20 criss-cross the globe on the trail of a deadly international terrorist named Latif, who is planning a major attack involving a cache of WMD that could have global repercussions.

I still stand by what I said that this show isn't really anything new, but it's a show I don't miss. I've really enjoyed the season.

Anyone catch the season two premier?

1) Rhona Mitra is just freaking hot. She has a large mouth, but shit, that's nitpicking.

2) The sergeant gal (what's her name) looks good in a bikini, too.

3) Tywin Lannister is just a freaking bad guy anywhere he goes these days....

4) Good episode. Stonebridge is NOT going to be happy.

It was pretty good episode, it looks like Stonebridge will be going scorched Earth on missions now.

Started watching this a week or so ago on Amazon. Late to the party, as usual, but if you have Prime and haven't seen this show, it's worth a look. Guns, explosions, titties ... what's not to like?
