Universal Reuniting Matt Damon & Paul Greengrass For Another Jason Bourne Film

EXCLUSIVE: Jason Bourne is coming back. Universal Pictures has begun making deals with Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass to reunite for their third film in The Bourne Identity series, sources tell me. This is an absolute stunner — and Universal would not comment nor would the reps — because Greengrass told Deadline as recently as last year that once Bourne regained his memory, there was no place else for the character to go creatively. His search formed the spine for the trilogy Damon starred in.

I think i have only seen part of the first movie. Never seen the 2nd and 3rd. I probably should one of these days.

I'm down for another Bourne movie, while I thought Renner did just fine, Damon will always be the better choice.

I didn't understand the 4th one at all. After it ended I was left wondering wtf the purpose of the whole thing was.

Love the Bourne films.

If they do another one, Id love to see a Renner/Damon teamup. That shit would be sick.

I really liked Renner in his film. He's a hell of an actor and while I like him as Hawkeye, he's terribly under-used in those Marvel films and it really seems like a waste of his time to do play second fiddle to the huge Marvel characters when he could be making more badass films like that one or the Hurt Locker.

Get him his own movie as Hawkeye, or phase him out and let him get on with making more films that feature him.

I've watched it maybe 3 times and I still couldn't figure out what the hell the movie was about other than some guys that were used as lab experiments and 1 guy "viraling out." I still don't even know what he was besides being an ex military.

In the first Bourne you knew what he was and why the government was after him and actually had an ending. The Legacy just randomly ended.
