Moved some stuff around over the weekend. I decided, and by that I mean the wife decided, that this will be my new bass corner.
And just got my new bridge in today. Now I've just gotta get it and the bass to KC Strings for a setup. Bridge that's getting replaced.

Banana boxes are best packing boxes. The G FORCE tuners are a bit flaky and feel cheap when tuning on my own. And it needs to retune too often. I do like the alternate tuning selections though. So we'll see before I swap that out. It might just be the new, stock strings. This is the LP I've been waiting for. Then it was on backorder for a month. Loooong month. It pairs well with my black Ovation. |

Going down to Memphis to take a couple guitars to the spa. Going Beale-ing and possibly jamming with some friends 10-2 & 10-3 night.
This is the first one. This guitar belonged to my blues grandfather, George Jackson. He was a K.C. blues legendary sort. Had more notoriety in Europe than here in the states. It's a '63 or '67 Gibson LG1. Elvis played one of these in 5 of his movies. http://www.scottymoore.net/epm_propLG1.html |

The other one headed for the spa http://www.memphisguitarspa.com/ run by good friends of mine. I wired their storefront for them a couple years ago.
They do perfect work. This is a late 20s/early 30s Kay Kraft Venetian. Probably early 30s judging by the style of the bridge. http://www.littlebrotherblues.com/Ge...30s/index.html |

Bought a new 2016 Fender American Standard Telecaster. Its a great change of pace after playing a Strat almost exclusively.

I am a noob here and not allowed to post pics or links,
I play my Martin Classical most every night. It was made in 1969 and was new old stock when I bought it about 9 years ago now. I have a Fender Tele reissue I don't play as much anymore Traynor 40 Watt 2 channel tube amp which was cost effective but sounds great. Ovation steel string with the Birds eye sound holes. Fender Mandolin I have a cheapo Banjo and Bass in the closet. My daughter plays my old Bach Strad trumpet, I play my Olds when we play together. Never get rid of your old band instruments! Synths: Kurzweil PC3 Ensoniq ESQ1 which I will never get rid of because I wrote so many songs on. Roland D-550 Roland XV-5080 Roland JU-06 Wavestation AD Oberheim Matrix 1000 Which is awesome I have some outboard effects and a MOTU 828 interface Run it all into Sonar which I bought the lifetime license to, have used it since the mid 90's. Also have a copy of Finale to write charts out with and compose. We also have a Sohmer piano in the family room. I feel like I am forgetting something. |
