Manny Machado not being nominated yet is a surprise, don't think I'd ever seen anybody throw a bat at another player until he did it. Throwing a helmet, though, has been done before (and more specifically by Brett Lawrie at an umpire).

I still wonder if he meant to throw the bat at the pitcher (which would be awful aim) or if he wanted to throw it at Donaldson for tagging him the day before (who wasn't playing 3B that day, but maybe he didn't know that/forgot).

I really don't dislike even half the players on that list. Some of you are naming some players that I have no idea why you'd dislike or hate.

Unless you are a gigantic douche like Bautista or Lawrie, I really don't strongly dislike many athletes. I try to think about how I'd feel about a player if they were on my team. If I can imagine that, and still hate them, they are likely a douche.
