You're a ****ing idiot.

So you're going to back Clay on this reeruned idea that mcCluster is constantly getting tracked down by LBs on a breakaway. That's what you're claiming.

I'm not an idiot. I'm arguing against ridiculous exaggeration.

You're making this too complicated.

It doesn't matter if you think he's fast or quick or good at handjobs or flipping burgers or whatever.

The simple fact: he doesn't make plays. He doesn't contribute to winning football. Even in 2010, when we were winning, other than that San Diego game he wasn't adding much to our team.

When he gets the ball, 9 times outta 10...no one gives a shit.

No, I'm not.

You're oversimplifying by saying he's 100% garbage.

I've acknowledged that he's played like garbage. I'm not going to sit here and listen to exaggeration about what he is, though.

He has about as much value to a good football team as Mike Cloud. If he was replaced by some jagoff we wouldn't lose anything.

You're arguing that he showed something in drills and against lesser talent on the college level that he is something that he has not been in the NFL.

He isn't just suddenly going to be faster than the NFL players he's getting caught by, and suddenly become this elusive dynamic playmaker through coaching.

The traits you think he will develop are instinctual.

I am saying he has talent to be fast and agile. And that it hasn't translated in the NFL with any consistency.

Coaching will put him in a better position to make plays, where the past 2 years have done an absolutely lousy job, particularly in terms of getting him in space without forcing it to him and hopefully coaching him to be a better pure receiver. I'm hoping, but maybe not, that experience makes him better about being smarter and more confident in the open field, which he is not today.

I'm not sitting here and telling you this is going to happen. I think there's a good chance he proves that he's a pure gimmick, even with Reid at coach.
