Mahomes injury updates

Postgame, Coach Andy Reid confirmed ankle sprain for Mahomes. Don't overlook this injury. By video this is not a standard low ankle sprain. This is a not a standard basketball low inversion sprain with predictable recovery.

By video this was a high ankle sprain. Albeit mild and Mahomes is obviously tough. One needs to wait for to see how much swelling occurs overnight and the next few days.

Will know more in the next few days. Expect some missed practice time and this could slow down the 2018 MVP throughout the month of September.

On the topic of Mahomes and injuries... I just wanna say that I would LOVE if this team went all in on building an elite offensive line for him this offseason. Sign a new C/G, draft one early. You already have tackles.

Imagine him sitting comfortably in that pocket with Hill, Hardman, and Kelce running downfield. Back to 2018.

Very tough. Played through a number of injuries in college that Tech fans fully expected him to miss multiple games. He just kept playing. But he has been pretty banged up throughout his career in general.

If Mahomes kept staying in the pocket when it is crashing in less than 3 seconds-people on here would be bitching about his sack numbers.

So a few times he backpedaled after getting pummeled several plays in a row-big ****ing deal. He has only been sacked 13 times for a measly 3.2 sack % for the year.
