I think I remember that there's something peculiar about the Golf channel, like that number is the combined value of the Golf Channel and NBC's broadcasts of all the PGA events.

Where is the Longhorn Network?
As soon as ESPN can end their contract with UT for the LHN, UT will leave and blow up the Big 12 for good. There isn't a feasible reason for UT to remain in the Big 12 other than their fleecing of ESPN for $15 million a year for the LHN. As for the SEC Network. Simply put, it's a game changer for Mizzou in a way that nothing else could approach from a financial and exposure perspective.

Whether Texas and OU will utlimately be content in their own private conference or decide to set realignment off again will just come down to money. Can they make in the Big X what they'd make in the SEC or PAC 12 or wherever? |

If you think Mizzou hoops is a good enough program to hire a quality coach (esp when Lurch drops another steamer) and that the "SEC status" - whatever that means - will make the climb back easier.....you're the one in denial

Alden skull****ed the Mizzou basketball program straight into the ground, but the potential is there. We just have to suffer through the "True Son" reign for another season, then we can jettison that horrible idea and get serious about rebuilding Mizzou basketball.
