Late night bullshit: name your future 30 for 30s

I mentioned in another thread... A few 30 for 30s bother me.... Ones with stories that are so obvious, it was overplayed. Biographies unless there was something extraordinary about it (sorry... Bo Jackson? Randy Moss? Those are nfl network Biographies, not 30 for 30s). And events so fresh in everyone's mind that the story is already well known. Anyway... With those biases clearly stated, what are...

30 for 30s we should see in the next few years because the story is still a little nostalgic?

What will be 30 for 30s ten years from now?

I agree and disagree. I enjoy all of them(even the ones you labeled as obvious), but I do enjoy the more intriguing stories a bit more. I watched the one about Boston College and Henry Hill last night on Netflix, and was glued to the screen.

I think they're enjoyable. But with the amount of unbelievable story lines, they're barely even in my top half in terms of favorites.

I saw the greg lemond 30 for 30 last week. Holy shit, how was I that sucked in to a documentary about cycling?

It's on Netflix instant. Another great one on Netflix that's pretty recent is 'big shot.' again, did not expect to be drawn in, but holy shit... What a crazy story.

The big shot one is about the former NY Islanders owner, right? If so, I agree. That was completely nuts.

I believe that was the first 30 for 30 I ever watched. I was an immediate fan of the series.

Yup. Narrated by E from entourage. If you want a cleverly produced documentary, check out June 17, 1994. It's about OJ but done in a really clever way. The most powerful by a mile is "unguarded" about the heroin addict from Fresno state. Gaahhhh, **** it, they're mostly all really ****ing good!

Four-Gotten: The Bad Luck of the Buffalo Bills (1990-1993) What if I told you, the third time isn't always the charm?

Not Always Gold that Glitters: Richard Jewell and the 1996 Olympic Games What if I told you a man's finest hour led to several days of darkness?

An Anthem: The Star Spangled Banner and Sports (Think '68 Olympics, '83 NBA All-Star Game and Marvin Gaye, Superbowl XXV in 1991 and Whitney Houston and.. Roseanne Barr?)

I was thinking of norwoods wide right in Super Bowl xxv. Crazy... I forgot that Whitney Houston's national anthem was before that game. That game alone is a 30 for 30.

I think my favorite thing about them is that they are directed/narrated by fans or people that are passionate about the given situation.

What if I told you that rubbing oil on your jersey and cheating on the salary cap would win you a Super Bowl and that nobody would really care about the deserved asterisk next to your name in the list of champions?
