He's not going to a place where he's not the alpha dog. It's not happening. He won't join LeBron. He won't join Golden State. The player you are referring to is kind of displaying right now why the Thunder made him the odd man out, and with the injuries the Thunder have sustained he wouldn't have made a difference. If you are referring to Reggio Jackson as well KD and Russ couldn't co exsist with him. They are way over the cap right now trying to do what they can. They don't have the right pieces in my opinion, and need to move stuff around. Presti has screwed the pooch on a lot of things including the makeup of the current roster. However, you always over simplify. The Thunder have had a Championship caliber team and the full roster hasn't been intact in the playoffs since Harden has left. One of the reasons the Warriors have had a good run is they've had no injuries. Injuries are a bigger part of the story than anything else with the Thunder and it amazes me the media leaves that part out. KD may very well leave the Thunder, but it's not because they aren't committed to winning. It's not as easy as you make it sound. There is some luck involved.

The funny thing is the Thunder have a roster full of the prototype players you love right now who put up stats, but play no defense and don't do the little things. It's the worst team they've had in a long time. They miss the Thabo clone more than the Harden clone. This team get raped on perimeter defense which doesn't match the evolution of the game. The Thunder have failed but you are so ****ing far off base to the reasons why it's ridiculous.

Durant will absolutely consider places like Golden State, Washington, Miami, etc
Quit being a Thunder homer nobody gives a shit about that team that couldnt build a roster around him for years. |

I think he may go the LeBron route and start signing one year deals, then leave when/if Russ leaves.

I only saw the Spurs the first game against the Thunder. If anyone will figure it out its Pop.
I just don't see anyone except maybe a healthy Cleveland giving Golden State any problems this year. They have a swag I haven't seen in a while. They are never out of a game and are killers on the road. They are on the brink of becoming something really special. I just don't think the rest of the West is as good as they've been. OKC is out of sorts and still getting hit with injuries. Perhaps they get healthy and it all clicks. The Spurs biggest problem in my eyes is Parker. He's just not that good anymore. The Clippers are head cases. The Rockets are head cases times infinity. Memphis just lacks what it takes to get them over the top. You have a bunch of meh teams like Dallas and Phoenix. The T Wolves future is promising At the end of the day though Golden State is so far ahead of everyone. Just a really impressive team who aren't far away from having a Bulls, Lakers, Celtics dominant feel. It's been a long time since the NBA has had a team like that. I already feel like outside of injuries it's going to be Cavs vs Warriors. Let's hope both teams are healthy this time. It could be a hell of a series. |

I honestly don't like the idea of Warriors and Durant.. one for parity and two i think it would mess up the chemistry.. durant isn't a great defender nor do the warriors ever have to worry about scoring. Yes.. Durant is a top 5 player..but what the warriors have right now is something special.. they need a "tony allen" from the celtics days or a special player lik that.
